DUPLICATE PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERMIT

1.     Letter addressed to the Chief Director of Immigration requesting issuance of permit

2.     Autobiography

3.     Copies of both old and new passport biodata pages

4.     Copies of previous re-entry stamps in old passports

5.     Copy of national ID

6.     Birth certificate

7.     Proof of accommodation

8.     Proof of continuous residence in the form of school/college certificates, medical reports, employment history etc

9.     Copy of Immigration old paper permit where applicable (old paper permit has since been outlawed)

10.                        Statutory fee USD$100 non-refundable

 

NB:

-         Copies of all documents to be sufficiently authenticated, those from outside Zimbabwe are to be notarized in the prescribed manner whilst those from within may be certified by commissioners of oaths

-         All translations to be in English and the copies of original documents to be tendered

-         Translations to be done by reputable  institutions (preferably government entities)
