1.      Fully completed residence permit application form (IF5)

2.      Application letter requesting for permit,  addressed to the Chief Director of Immigration

3.      Two passport size photos

4.      Proof of previous residence

5.      Close relative Guarantee form to be completed by a resident of Zimbabwe

6.      Proof of accommodation by guarantor

7.      Proof of guarantor’s residential status of e.g copy of ID or permit

8.      Proof of funds by guarantor e.g bank statement (3 months)

9.      Copy of marriage certificate if applicable

10.  Copies of children’s birth certificates or passports if applicable

11.  Police clearance from country of residence (not older than 6 months)

12.  Passport biodata page of applicant

13.  Chest X-ray certificate

14.  Statutory fee USD$300 and USD$300 per dependent, all non-refundable

-          Copies of all documents to be sufficiently authenticated, those from outside Zimbabwe are to be notarized in the prescribed manner whilst those from within may be certified by commissioners of oaths

-          All translations to be in English and the copies of original documents to be tendered

-          Translations to be done by reputable  institutions (preferably government entities)

-          All extensions to be done three (3) months prior to expiry of current permit.
