Spouse Residence Permit Requirements
- Residence permit application form (I.F.S) fully completed.
- Close relative guarantee form to be completed by local spouse.
- Application letter addressed to the Chief Director of Immigration (CDI) from foreign spouse and support letter from local spouse requesting for residence permit.
- Passport bio data page.
- 2 passport sized photos certified as a true likeness of applicant.
- Proof of accommodation and residential status of guarantor.
- Proof of funds by guarantor.
- Copy of marriage certificate.
- Copy of children birth certificate / passports (if applicable).
- Police clearance from country of origin/last permanent residence not older than six months.
- Statutory non-refundable fee of US$500 and US$300/dependent.
- Radiological certificate.
Spouse Residence Permit Extension
- Application letter addressed to the Chief Director of Immigration (CDI) from foreign spouse and support letter from local spouse requesting for residence permit.
- Copy of current permit.
- Statutory non-refundable fee of US$300 and US$300/dependent.
Spouse Residence Permit (Permanent)
- Application letter addressed to the Chief Director of Immigration (CDI) from foreign spouse and support letter from local spouse requesting for residence permit.
- Copy of current permit.
- Statutory non-refundable fee of US$500 and US$300/dependent.
- Local Police clearance not older than 6 months.
TAKE NOTE:
- Copies of all documents should be sufficiently authenticated; those from outside Zimbabwe should be notarized in the prescribed manner whilst those from Zimbabwe should be certified by a Commissioner of Oaths.
- All translations should be in English and all copies of the original to be tendered.
If spouse is accompanied by dependents, the following should be submitted:
- Marriage certificate
- Birth certificate for all children
- Police clearance for those above 18 years
- Passport biodata
- 2 passports sized photos/dependent
