Temporary Employment Permit Requirements
- Residence permit application form (I.F.5) fully completed.
- Temporary Employment application form.
- Application letter addressed to the Chief Director of Immigration (CDI).
- Certified passport bio data page.
- 2 passport sized photos certified as true likeness of applicant.
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Contract of employment.
- Notarized academic and professional certificates.
- Statutory non-refundable fee of US$500 and US$300/dependent.
- Radiological certificate.
- Advertisement in local newspaper.
- CV for shortlisted candidates including their contact details.
- CV and qualifications of persons identified to do understudy.
- Police clearance from country of origin/last permanent residence not older than six months.
- Company documents (Certificate of Inc, Entity Summary Document, ZIDA Licence, ZIMRA tax clearance).
Temporary Employment Permit Extension
- Application letter addressed to the CDI requesting for extension.
- Copy of current permit.
- CV and qualifications of persons identified to do understudy.
- Statutory non-refundable fee of US$500 and US$300/dependent.
- Company documents (Certificate of Inc, Entity Summary Document, ZIDA Licence, ZIMRA tax clearance).
Take Note:
- Application should be in duplicate.
- Copies of all documents should be sufficiently authenticated; those from outside Zimbabwe should be notarized in the prescribed manner whilst those from Zimbabwe should be certified by a Commissioner of Oaths.
Additional Requirements
- All translations should be in English and all copies of the original to be tendered.
- Professionals to be cleared by relevant authorities.
- Applicants from Non-Governmental Organisations should submit Private Voluntary Organisations Certificate from the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare.
- Government supported projects/projects accorded national project status to submit support letter from line ministry.
- EMA certificate should be submitted in respect of all projects requiring EMA clearance.
- Address where applicant is working.
- All projects remitting minerals to submit proof of remittance.
- If expatriate is accompanied by dependents, the following should be submitted:
- Marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Birth certificate for all children
- Police clearance for those above 18 years
- Passport biodata
- 2 passports sized photos/dependent
